Procedure
After an initial skincare consultation, the affected area is cleansed and prepared for the procedure. The Venus Versa probe is advanced over the treatment areas of concern. An integrated cooling applicator allows the procedure to be as comfortable as possible. Most clients describe the session as a light flicking sensation against the skin. The session time can be 15 to 20 minutes.
Frequency
Most patients need 8 to 10 sessions for optimal results, according to the medical provider’s recommendations. The sessions are scheduled twice weekly for one month, though some patients may need additional maintenance sessions. Your medical provider will curate the ideal treatment frequency based on your needs and goals.
Recovery
There is no downtime or pain after the treatment. Occasionally, your skin can feel warm or appear red. After the treatment, make-up can be worn, and SPF lotion application and sun avoidance are strongly recommended for 2 weeks.
