Your Restylane Journey
Procedure
Your cosmetic provider will mark the treatment areas using a marker, creating a strategic treatment map on your face. Based on your unique goals, the injector will select the ideal Restylane formulations and the appropriate units of each filler. After applying a numbing gel on your face, the chosen fillers will be injected into your facial skin using ultrafine needles. Restylane fillers contain an anesthetic called lidocaine, ensuring complete comfort.
Recovery
Restylane fillers don’t necessitate downtime or an extended recovery period. You can resume your daily activities and work immediately, though you should avoid strenuous workouts. You may experience minimal side effects, such as redness, swelling, tenderness, and bruising for a few days, but you can conceal them using makeup.
Results
Restylane produces instant results — your skin will look softer, smoother, and fuller by the time you leave the medical spa. However, you’ll appreciate the full results once the side effects dissipate within a few days. The final results last for 9 to 18 months, depending on the chosen Restylane fillers and the treatment areas.
