PDO Threads are thin, absorbable sutures placed under the skin through a central hole created by a needle that are pulled back to lift and tighten skin reducing wrinkles and in time volumizing the skin.

Types

  • Mono Threads- Volumize skin
  • Screw Threads- Further Volumize and also tighten skin
  • Barb/Cog Threads-Lift skin

Important to note that all of the threads promote collagen production.

Why?

PDO Threads are a more cost effective alternative to a surgical facelift. These nonpermanent threads increase collagen formation for a long-lasting effect. Plus the procedure does not involve scapels or anesthesia so there is no down time!

Who will benefit from Threads?

PDO Threads can be used anywhere on the body where there is loose sagging skin that needs tightening or in areas where volume is lost.

  • loose/sagging skin
  • wrinkles
  • jowls
  • turkey/sagging skin
  • facial contouring
  • jaw line contouring
  • v-shape
  • breast/buttocks/knee/stomach/arm lift
  • decollage
  • volumize “hollow areas”
  • and so much more

What to expect

An instant lift/tightness in the skin followed by an increase in skin texture, fine lines, and elasticity in the months to come. Depending on where the threads are placed minimal bruising may or may not occur. Soreness is not uncommon 24-48 hours following the procedure.
